720° research presented at Indoor Air 2020

720° is taking part in the 16th Conference of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality & Climate! Indoor Air conference series have built a strong reputation over 15 editions, bringing together researchers from diverse backgrounds to discuss the multidisciplinary field of indoor air sciences.

Samy Clinchard (Director, Innovations at 720°) is presenting our latest research surrounding the topic of analysis of continuous indoor environmental data (more information below). This conference gathers (this time virtually due to the current pandemic that is shaking our worlds) experts from around the world to discuss the latest research of the Indoor Air field.

As forerunners in the industry we are happy to share our knowledge and experience at industry events in order to enhance the development of the built environment. Over the last years we have created the most intelligent indoor environment analytics solution by turning building data into value for our customers and developing this information with a team of experts of various disciplines such as artificial intelligence, indoor environmental expertise and organizational theory.

During the recent years, indoor environmental quality (IEQ) data collection using continuous monitoring methods has become more accessible, resulting in a need to develop new analytical procedures. The data are clustered: indoor spaces are monitored within buildings, i.e. a cluster of spaces. Data are also longitudinal, i.e. multiple observations are collected from the same spaces. Therefore, the metrics used to assess IEQ in indoor spaces over time need to be re-evaluated. This study aimed to find which metrics explained the variations in each IEQ parameters monitored, especially considering building clustering. In addition, we provide an application example by studying the associations with the characteristics of the buildings.

About us. 720° is a cloud based analytics solution for indoor environmental quality monitoring. We believe that health and satisfaction at work is everyone’s prerogative. Our passion is to improve people’s lives and allow organisations and building owners to offer the best working environments achievable.
